Description

The Commonwealth has an ongoing seasonal requirement for the provision of intracontinental fixed wing, ski-equipped aviation services to deliver critical station-to-station transportation linkages, logistics, MEDEVAC and science support throughout the Antarctic during the Austral summer, notionally from October to March each year.

Conditions for Participation:
(a)        The Commonwealth will exclude a tender from further consideration if, at any time before any resultant Contract is executed, the Commonwealth considers that the Potential Supplier does not meet any one or more of the following conditions for participation:(i)         holds an Air Operator's Certificate (AOC), or the equivalent from a Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) recognised National Airworthiness Authority (NAA);(ii)        holds all valid and satisfactory STRs required for its entity type; and(iii)       holds all valid and satisfactory STRs required for the entity type of any first tier subcontractor that it proposes, as part of its tender, to engage to deliver goods or services as part of a contract resulting from a procurement with an estimated value of $4 million or more (GST inclusive). Potential Suppliers are to refer to the Shadow Economy Policy at clause 5.6.Refer to the Approach to Market document for further details.
