Considerando a necessidade de atender às demandas dos projetos de pesquisa vinculados ao Convênio nº 01.24.0459 (Ref. 0648/24), a aquisição de um sistema de Cromatografia Líquida acoplada à Espectrometria de Massas (LC-MS) é essencial para as atividades de pesquisa, ensino e inovação da instituição, permitindo a identificação e a confirmação estrutural de compostos orgânicos em matrizes complexas com elevada sensibilidade e seletividade. O equipamento possibilitará análises de produtos naturais, fármacos, metabólitos, contaminantes e produtos de síntese. Sua disponibilidade reduzirá a dependência de laboratórios externos, diminuindo custos e prazos de execução, além de ampliar a autonomia analítica. A aquisição fortalecerá a infraestrutura laboratorial, contribuirá para a formação de recursos humanos qualificados, viabilizará projetos financiados e impulsionará pesquisas com potencial para geração de publicações, inovação tecnológica e propriedade intelectual.
