A motobomba deverá ser do tipo centrífuga horizontal, projetada para operação contínua nos sistemas de combate a incêndio e esgoto de embarcações, compatível com as características hidráulicas, mecânicas e elétricas do equipamento atualmente instalado a bordo. O conjunto deverá ser composto por bomba e motor elétrico trifásico acoplados em base única, devidamente alinhados de fábrica.
O motor elétrico deverá possuir potência nominal de 11 kW (15 CV), alimentação em 440 V, 3 fases, 60 Hz, rotação nominal aproximada de 3.520 rpm e corrente nominal compatível com a potência especificada. Os rolamentos deverão ser dimensionados para operação contínua, equivalentes aos modelos 6308 ZZ (dianteiro) e 6207 ZZ (traseiro) ou tecnicamente superiores.
A bomba deverá apresentar desempenho hidráulico compatível com o sistema existente, garantindo vazão e pressão suficientes para atendimento dos sistemas de incêndio e esgoto da embarcação, sem necessidade de alterações nas tubulações, na base de fixação ou na instalação elétrica.
Todos os componentes metálicos expostos deverão possuir proteção anticorrosiva adequada ao ambiente marinho, por meio de pintura industrial, tratamento superficial ou utilização de materiais resistentes à corrosão. Os elementos de vedação deverão ser compatíveis com água doce, água do mar e efluentes compatíveis com a aplicação.
O equipamento deverá ser fornecido completamente montado, balanceado e ensaiado em fábrica, acompanhado de catálogo técnico, manual de instalação, operação e manutenção, certificado de testes, lista de peças de reposição recomendadas e certificado de garantia. Deverá atender às normas técnicas aplicáveis aos motores elétricos e bombas centrífugas de uso industrial, assegurando confiabilidade operacional, facilidade de manutenção e disponibilidade de assistência técnica e peças de reposição no território nacional.
