Centralized procurement of archaeological research services (framework agreement)

The contracting authority intends to acquire archaeological research and assessment of the need for archaeological heritage research services. The requirements for the subject of the procurement are set out in Annex 6 of the Special Procurement Conditions (Framework Agreement draft and its annexes). In carrying out this public procurement, the contracting authority intends to conclude a framework agreement with 5 (five) suppliers (or fewer than 5 (five) if fewer than 5 (five) suppliers are recognized as winners of the competition), based on which framework agreement main service procurement contracts will be concluded with the suppliers who have concluded this agreement. The framework agreement will be executed partly by renewing supplier competition. Kaunas City Municipality Administration and its subordinate institutions (hereinafter - Users) will conclude main contracts with suppliers by conducting non-renewed supplier competition according to Chapter VII of the framework agreement and/or by conducting renewed supplier competition according to Chapter VIII of the framework agreement (Annex 6 of the Special Procurement Conditions). Specific information about the planned services to be procured, indicating the object where they will be provided, its name, address, the nature of the archaeological research to be carried out (if applicable), the unique code of the object in the Register of Cultural Heritage, and other information and documents (e.g., a plan of the boundaries of the territory and/or protection zone indicating the planned service provision locations) for a specific main contract will be provided by the User as needed, by renewing supplier competition and inviting all suppliers who have concluded the framework agreement to submit proposals for the renewed competition or by concluding main contracts without renewing supplier competition.
