Architectural and Engineering Services for the following Measure: Centralization of the Clinic for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Psychotherapy and Psychosomatics [Marienheide Location]

Klinikum Oberberg GmbH intends to award architectural and engineering services for the centralization of the Clinic for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. The Clinic for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Psychosomatics and Psychotherapy offers its diverse therapies at two locations (Gummersbach and Marienheide). At the Center for Mental Health in Marienheide, outpatient, partial and full inpatient cases are treated, whereas at the second location in Gummersbach, only outpatient and partial inpatient cases are treated. In order to utilize economic and personnel synergies and thus also to improve therapeutic work, a centralization of the service offering at the Marienheide location is planned. The service offering at the Gummersbach location will be discontinued. In addition to the services at the main location in Marienheide, a new building is planned to accommodate the following departments [taking into account the specific requirements for a psychiatric facility (including suicide prevention)]: - Day clinic for child and adolescent psychiatry (15 beds); - Institute outpatient clinic for children and adolescents with mental illnesses; - closed ward for acute treatment of mentally ill children and adolescents with, among others, 18 beds, an office, doctor's room, kitchen, recreation room, and common rooms. An application for funding for the implementation of hospital planning has been submitted for the measure. Funding has been approved by decree dated 28.11.2025. Completion is currently planned by the 4th quarter of 2028. The total costs (cost groups 200 - 700) of the measure are currently estimated at approximately EUR 12.6 million / gross.
