Beneficjenci programu zostali wytypowani po rozeznaniu środowiska przez MOPS w Pelplinie. Struktura świadczonych usług będzie obejmowała bieżące wsparcie w funkcjonowaniu osoby niepełnosprawnej. Opieka asystenta świadczona będzie poprzez między innymi nadzór nad prawidłowym przebiegiem porządku dnia osoby niepełnosprawnej, zapewnienia jej wsparcia psychicznego i fizycznego, pomoc w załatwianiu codziennych spraw, w tym potrzeb fizjologicznych, podania posiłków, zrobienia zakupów, wyjścia na spacer, a także ogólny rozwój psychofizyczny. Wszystkie czynności będą wykonywane zgodnie ze zgłoszonymi potrzebami.
