Phase 1: Orientation and Motivation Phase. Phase 1 includes the following content: Individual Profiling - Skills assessment and potential analysis - Identification of at least three career aspirations - Creation of an individual development plan Building internship sponsorships - Gaining and sensitizing companies - Preparing participants for company processes - Creating application portfolios - Practicing job interviews and telephone applications - Application training - Preparation for assessment centers - Translating internship benefits into advantages Career Check The goal is to enable participants to relate their personal prerequisites (inclination, suitability, and performance) to the requirements of professions and activities. The Career Check includes at least: - Information on relevant professional activities and their requirements - Consideration of the participant's interests, abilities, and skills - Participant's personality profile - Development of three development perspectives and suitable professions, considering regional support offers - Verification of the chosen career decision - Acquisition of company apprenticeship positions - Support for participants in self-searching for apprenticeship and internship positions, - Assisted placement, - Information on financial support services and offers in coordination with the responsible funding body - Mandatory company visits - Participation in job and apprenticeship fairs - Presentation of new job profiles - Discussion of non-traditional gender roles - Knowledge of the apprenticeship market Improvement of Key Competencies Key competencies are to be built and strengthened as cross-curricular competencies. In this context, key competencies include, among others: - Personal Competencies (e.g., motivation, performance, time management, self-image, self-assessment, initiative, flexibility, assertiveness). - Social Competencies (e.g., communication, cooperation/teamwork, ability to take criticism, conflict resolution strategies). - Emotional Competencies (frustration tolerance, resilience, stress management) - Methodological Competencies (e.g., problem-solving strategies, work organization, design of learning processes, guidance for self-reflection and behavior review) - Intercultural Competencies (e.g., understanding and tolerance for and dealing with other cultures, traditions, and religions). - IT and Media Competence (independent application and targeted use of information and communication technology as well as print media). - Promotion of work behavior characteristics (e.g., concentration, reliability, punctuality, etc.) - Introduction to the requirements of the apprenticeship and working world At the end of this phase, the participant must have a complete application portfolio on a USB stick, which they can adapt independently. The application portfolio must be sent unsolicited by email to the participant's integration officer. Phase 2: Internship Phase Participants will test their career aspirations during internships and complete accompanying modules with the provider. The goal is to place all participants in at least one internship. However, it is also possible for participants to attend up to three internships according to their career aspirations. Through the measure components with an employer, potential training companies are given the opportunity to test participants under real working conditions and in stressful situations. Participants will receive corresponding work assignments that allow the company to assess the participant's performance in order to evaluate the option of hiring them.
