Training and Qualification Budget (AQB): Part-time subsidized training (Course: 26 M2-01)

In the Wetterau district, too, as many people as possible should have the chance to complete vocational training. A suitable entry into a profession and career enables them to secure their own livelihood. For some, the path to a professional qualification is only possible part-time. With the offer of part-time vocational training, educators, family caregivers, people with a history of flight and migration, and people with health impairments can obtain a professional qualification. Furthermore, part-time offers contribute to securing skilled workers. The measure "Subsidized part-time training" is a cross-sectoral format that focuses on the specific support needs of educators and other young people with time constraints, thus closing a support gap in the regional standard offering. Since several participants are supported/accompanied as a group, this opens up opportunities for mutual support, learning from each other, and encouraging each other – especially regarding how to balance training and family work. (Peer approach/empowerment). This offer provides young educators from the Asylum Seekers' Benefits Act (AsylbLG) with a good prospect of remaining in the country with the special opportunity to undergo subsidized training. Regional companies can be newly won over for the implementation of part-time training. In the Wetterau district, training in part-time has been specifically supported and offered in cooperation with the job center for several years. This measure builds on these experiences.
