Authorization for Intervention Near Networks (AIPR)

This tender, originating from France and sourced via TED, relates to the 'Autorisation d'Intervention à Proximité des Réseaux' (AIPR), which translates to 'Authorization for Intervention Near Networks'. This type of procurement typically involves the qualification and authorization of individuals or entities authorized to perform work in proximity to underground or overhead utility networks. The AIPR is a mandatory certification in France for anyone planning to carry out construction or excavation work that could affect utility infrastructure, such as gas, electricity, water, or telecommunications lines. Requirements for bidders usually include demonstrating the necessary technical skills, safety knowledge, and compliance with French regulations regarding network protection. The contracting authority is seeking to ensure that all personnel involved in such operations are properly trained and certified to prevent accidents, damage to infrastructure, and service disruptions. The scope may involve training, certification processes, and ongoing monitoring of authorized personnel.
