Sopimuskautta on tarpeen pidentää määräaikaisesti ajalle 8.5.2026–31.10.2026. Sopimus on kuitenkin päätettävissä ennen määräajan päättymistä, kun uusi hankintapäätös on saanut lainvoiman ja uusi sopimus on allekirjoitettu.
Automatisoitujen immunovärjäysautomaattien kilpailutus (HUS 424-2025) on parhaillaan käynnissä. Kilpailutusta ei ole mahdollista saattaa päätökseen ennen nykyisen sopimuskauden päättymistä huomioiden muutoksenhakuajat sekä käyttöönottoon liittyvät siirtymävaiheen toimenpiteet.
Sopimuskauden jatkaminen on välttämätöntä toiminnan jatkuvuuden ja potilasturvallisuuden varmistamiseksi siihen saakka, kunnes uusi sopimus voidaan ottaa käyttöön.
