Banking Services Client: Leiden University The tender must lead to an agreement with a bank that has sufficient expertise to facilitate the university with regard to current and future payment traffic. You are asked to submit a quotation for the following: 1. Provision of payment traffic for Leiden University, for which, among other things, an electronic banking system will be made available, in which the bank accounts of the units of the university and affiliated foundations will be housed within one complex, where either daily balance regulation or otherwise a zero balance structure is possible and interest compensation can take place, at least with regard to university accounts. 2. A proposal to reduce the handling costs of cash flows within the university as much as possible, in a user-friendly manner, by, among other things, reducing the number of bank accounts and optimizing other payment traffic (especially receipts for various services). 3. Other services that the bank can provide to support the university in achieving related objectives and in maintaining a financially stable position. The bank must also point out any identified risks in business operations to the university. It is essential that the bank is connected to the treasury banking procedure. Furthermore, the bank must be able to facilitate international (world) payment traffic. In addition, it is important that the bank is able to (proactively) respond to new developments during the agreement, actively propose them to Leiden University, and implement them.
