Zur Realisierung des Bedarfs von folgenden drei Nutzern (HPT: Hessisches Polizeipräsidium für Technik, HPE: Hessisches Polizeipräsidium Einsatz und HöMS: Hochschule für öffentliches Management und Sicherheit), soll zukünftig am Großstandort im Bereich "Petersweg" in Mainz-Kastel, das Löwenquartier mit diversen Neubauten, sowie die damit zusammenhängenden Sport-, Einsatztrainings- und Raumschießanlagen, sowie einer Kantine, in verschiedenen Bauabschnitten entstehen. Der Unterzubringender Landesbedarf beträgt insgesamt rund 225.000 m² BGF.
