BKP 214 Timber Construction - New Construction of Oberdorf Indoor Swimming Pool

The City of Dübendorf is constructing a new indoor swimming pool on the site of the existing outdoor pool at Oberdorfstrasse 23, 8600 Dübendorf. This replacement building is planned to be located within the area of the current outdoor pool infrastructure. By integrating indoor and outdoor pool facilities at a single location, an attractive offering will be created, primarily benefiting the local population. Concurrently, the new indoor pool aims to provide sufficient long-term capacity for swimming lessons and sports activities for schools and clubs. The new indoor swimming pool will feature a large-format timber pitched roof, partially supported by a solid construction substructure and concrete pendulum columns arranged along the facade. To enhance catering capacity on peak days, a small timber-constructed catering satellite is also planned. This satellite facility is included within the scope of this tender.
