Im Zuge der Sanierung und Neustrukturierung des Hauptgebäudes der Rheinischen Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn wird der zukünftige Flächenbedarf der verschiedenen universitären Nutzungen im Hauptgebäude sowie im Neubau Viktoriakarree neu organisiert. Es ist vorgesehen, das Viktoriabad und das Stadtmuseum abzubrechen und eine Universitätsbibliothek auf den Bestandsuntergeschossen mit gleichzeitigem Erhalt der denkmalgeschützten Fassade in Richtung Belderberg neu zu errichten. Gegenstand dieser Ausschreibung sind die Planungsleistungen Brandschutz für das Teilprojekt Viktoriakarree (VIKA). Das Areal befindet sich in der Bonner Innenstadt, direkt gegenüber dem Ostflügel des Hauptgebäudes der Universität, und ist somit sehr prominent gelegen.
