Die Stuttgarter Straßenbahnen AG beabsichtigen die Brandschutzertüchtigung der unterirdischen Haltestelle Marienplatz in Stuttgart Süd durchzuführen. Die Maßnahmen basieren auf einem brandschutztechnischen Gutachten und umfassen folgende Leistungen: 1. Abtrennung Treppenhaus mit Rauchschutzfassade Stahl/Glas 2. Rauchschutz-Türanlage in Rauchschutzfassade 3. Rückbau abgehängter Bestandsdecke und Planung neuer abgehängte Decke 4. Integration des Beleuchtungskonzepts und Kabeltrassen in die neue abgehängte Decke. Die Ausführung findet unter laufendem Betrieb statt mit Ausnahme einer Sperrpause im August 2027.
