Construction of a photovoltaic installation and installation of heat pumps at the Lubachów Water Treatment Plant in Zagórze Śl., planned for co-financing from European Union funds

This tender concerns the modernization of the heating system at the Lubachów Water Treatment Plant (SUW) located in Zagórze Śl. The project aims to replace the existing coal-fired boiler room with a new, environmentally friendly heat source. The primary heating will be provided by air-to-water heat pumps, supplemented by electric boilers. A significant component of the modernization involves the construction of a photovoltaic (PV) installation designed to cover a substantial portion of the electricity demand for the new heating system, thereby reducing operational costs and environmental impact. The scope of work is divided into several key stages. Firstly, the selected contractor will be responsible for developing all necessary documentation, obtaining required permits and approvals, and assessing the structural integrity of the roof to determine its suitability for the PV installation. Secondly, the PV system will be constructed to generate supplementary electrical energy for the SUW. Thirdly, the existing boiler room will be adapted to accommodate the new heat generation system. This includes the complete removal of the coal boiler, chimney, and associated hydraulic systems, along with necessary modifications to the existing central heating (CO) and domestic hot water (CWU) installations. The electrical system will be upgraded to meet the required power capacity, and restoration works such as wall and floor repairs, repainting, and finishing will be undertaken. Finally, the air-to-water heat pumps and electric boilers will be installed, integrated with a monitoring and visualization system for the entire setup. This project is slated for co-financing by the European Union.
