Ordregiver ønsker at anskaffe bygge- og anlægsarbejder i forbindelse med udvidelsen af den eksisterende 400/150 kV højspændingsstation ved Kassø vest for Aabenraa. Projektet omfatter opførelse af en ny og større 400 kV-station samt to nye 150 kV-stationer, nedlæggelse af den nuværende sammenbyggede station og opførelse af op til syv manøvrebygninger. Stationsområdet udvides fra ca. 12 hektar til ca. 135 hektar, hvoraf de tre stationer udgør ca. 50 hektar, mens resten indrettes som rekreativt område med offentlig adgang.
