Dear Bidder,
The International Labour Office (ILO) is looking for an individual to undertake work as an External Collaborator.
Below is a summary of the work to be performed:
The consultant will be responsible for three technical modules:
• Unemployment Insurance Operations
• Career Counselling Skills in Employment Services (with focus on specific groups as youth, women, ethnic minority, mid-career job seekers)
• Communication and Client Service Skills
(Aligned with Modules 4, 5, 6, and 7 in the national capacity building programme for PES staff)
Key tasks include:
• Review and adapt national curriculum and materials
• Customize ILO training resources including How to Support Jobseekers: A Handbook for Employment Service Providers and other relevant ILO global training toolkits; How to support Employers: Manual for managerial and operational teams in PES; Meaningful youth engagement for decent work: A training package on engaging young people in employment programmes, and How to organize my job search? A step-by-step guide for job seekers and those who support them, to especially cover:
- Jobseeker support and counselling methodologies
- Client-centred service delivery approaches (example approach for young people).
• Develop competency-based training materials including:
• Role plays and simulations
• Counselling tools and templates
• Customer service scenarios
• Integrate inclusive approaches (youth, vulnerable groups, persons with disabilities)
• Deliver/Co-deliver pilot trainings
