Dear Bidder,
The International Labour Office (ILO) is looking for an individual to undertake work as an External Collaborator.
Below is a summary of the work to be performed:
The ILO Office for Türkiye is seeking an External Collaborator to support a comparative assessment of Türkiye’s outlook on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work (FPRW).
Under the supervision of the Director of the ILO Office for Türkiye, and in coordination with the Senior Project Coordinator and the Training and Research Officer, the selected expert will review and synthesize findings from key
international documentary sources issued between 2024 and 2027, including ILO supervisory mechanisms, EU Progress Reports, and reports of other relevant international bodies.
Based on this review, the External Collaborator will analyse developments, identify progress, gaps, bottlenecks and areas of deterioration, and prepare an assessment report with recommendations reflecting the perspectives of social partners.
The assignment also includes preparation of a comparative documentary matrix covering two reference periods, 2019–2023 and 2024–2026, across key thematic areas: child labour, forced labour, occupational safety and health, discrimination in employment and occupation, and freedom of association and collective bargaining.
The work will contribute to a stronger evidence base on Türkiye’s FPRW outlook and support informed dialogue on key labour rights challenges and developments.
If you are interested, please express interest and follow the instructions attached to consult the detailed terms of reference and other relevant information in the ILO e-sourcing platform.
Please submit your proposal before the specified deadline.
Thank you
