Dear Bidder,

The International Labour Office (ILO) is looking for an individual to undertake work as an External Collaborator.

Below is a summary of the work to be performed:
1.

Cashew Nuts value chain in Timor-Leste
•Brief overview of the global market for Cashew Nuts (main producers, trends in production and consumption) and possible positioning of Timor-Leste within it.
•Situation analysis, Cashew Nuts value chain in Timor-Leste.
2.

Roadmap for Cashew Nuts Value Chain inTimor-Leste
- Industrial development roadmap; (i)Building basic production capacity to serve the local market, (ii) Scaling-up production and processing capacity, (iii) Transitioning to capital intensive industrial model following an import-substitution strategy, (iv) Consolidating a modern and export-oriented industry that compete in international markets
- Skills Development Roadmap;
This part of the analysis will cover the critical occupational (referring to ISCO classification) and related skills needs in the different steps (i)to (iv) of the value chain, being those skills related to cultivation, transport, sale.
