The International Labour Office (ILO) is looking for an individual to undertake work as an External Collaborator.

The International Labour Organization (ILO) seeks an experienced evaluator to serve as Team Member for the final independent evaluation of the “Social Dialogue for Peace and Crisis Prevention in Sri Lanka” project (2024–2026) in Sri Lanka.
The project aims to contribute to a more peaceful, inclusive, and gender-responsive socio-economic recovery process in the context of Sri Lanka’s economic crisis.
The evaluation will assess project performance against OECD-DAC criteria, including relevance, coherence, effectiveness, efficiency, sustainability, and impact, with attention to cross-cutting issues such as gender equality, non-discrimination, disability and social dialogue.
The Team member will work primarily in-country, supporting stakeholder consultations, field visits, key informant interviews (KIIs), focus group discussions (FGDs), data verification, and validation activities.
They will facilitate engagement with national and sub-national stakeholders, provide contextual analysis of Sri Lanka’s political, social, and labour environment, assist with translation and interpretation where required, and contribute to drafting and reviewing evaluation deliverables.
Field activities will be coordinated with the Team Leader and agreed with the ILO during the inception phase.
