Description

Dried Meat Lake Pit #1 Gravel Crushing which includes the mining, crushing, screening and stockpiling of gravel in the following quantities and sizes: 35,000 m – Modified Specification 4:25 Gravel at NW24-45-20-W4M Additional Requirements: SAFETY QUALIFICATIONS Contracts will only be awarded to Contractors who, prior to the time fixed for receiving tenders, possess a Certificate of Recognition (COR) which is relevant to their industry and which is recognized by Alberta Human Resources and Employment, Workplace Health and Safety. Contractors are advised that a small employer Certificate of Recognition (for employers with less than ten employees) is considered acceptable. INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS It is mandatory that the Contractor secure and maintain such insurance as will protect himself, his employees and the County from claims for death, bodily injury, or property damage. The following is the minimum insurance coverage required: a) Worker's Compensation - as required by the laws of the Province of Alberta. b) Public Liability or Property Damage - $5,000,000.00. c) Automobile Public Liability or Property Damage - $5,000,000.00. d) Commercial General Liability - $5,000,000.00 Commodity Categories: Aggregates, Extraction, Heavy construction services Delivery Region: Alberta, Camrose County
