Description

Provision of Care at Home Service and Night Service in the Oldham Council boundaries. The service will predominantly provide eligible care services to all residents of Oldham, reflecting the borough's diverse population, including a significant proportion of residents from Black, Asian, and Minority Ethnic (BAME) communities. Providers are expected to deliver proactive, person-centred care that is culturally sensitive and responsive to the needs of each individual within their own home. The service provider is required to deliver care in a manner that is inclusive, empowering, and person-centred, promoting independence, choice, and control for all service users. Oldham Council expects the Provider to deliver high-quality care and is committed to working in partnership with key stakeholders, adopting outcome-based approaches in the delivery of this service. The Council seeks to commission services that are safe, person-centred, and of consistently high quality. Service users shall be supported to live as independently as possible, enabling them to exercise choice, maintain their preferred lifestyle, and make their own decisions.
