Description

The Project involves the Transformation of 4 Urban Green Areas in Carrick on Shannon at the following locations, 1.Existing Linear Park, (Linear Park South) 2.Green Area to the rear of the Shannon Lodge Estate (Linear Park North) 3.The People’s Park (formerly the MBNA Park) 4.Green Area adjacent to the Attifinlay Roundabout on the N4. The project will deliver a cohesive programme of public realm and amenity park enhancements across four strategically located sites within and adjoining the town centre. Collectively, these sites form a connected network of urban green infrastructure that links the town centre to the River Shannon and to key residential, recreational and tourism assets.
