El objeto del presente Acuerdo Marco es fijar las condiciones a las que tendrán que ajustarse los contratos de servicios para la gestión y contratación de plazas en Centros de Rehabilitación Psicosocial para personas con enfermedad mental grave y duradera en las distintas zonas de la Comunidad de Madrid. Los Centros de Rehabilitación Psicosocial (CRPS), se conciben como un tipo de Centro de atención diurna de atención psicosocial especializada destinados a personas con enfermedad mental grave y duradera y, en especial, a aquellos con mayores dificultades de funcionamiento e integración, para ayudarles a recuperar el máximo grado de autonomía personal y social y promover su mantenimiento e integración en la comunidad. Así como apoyar y asesorar a sus familias. Ofrecen programas individualizados de rehabilitación psicosocial y apoyo a la integración y actividades de apoyo social, para ayudar a las personas con enfermedad mental severa y persistente a recuperar el máximo grado de autonomía personal y social, mejorar su funcionamiento psicosocial y promover su mantenimiento e integración en la comunidad. Así mismo ofrecen psicoeducación, asesoramiento y apoyo a las familias. Las plazas en Centros de Rehabilitación Psicosocial adjudicados en el presente Acuerdo Marco, una vez contratadas en virtud de los contratos de servicios que de él se deriven, quedaran integradas en la Red de Atención Social a personas con enfermedad mental grave y duradera de la Dirección General de Atención a Personas con Discapacidad de la Consejería de Familia, Juventud y Asuntos Sociales.
