Description

The City of Calgary intends to enter into an agreement with Google Cloud Canada Corporation to continue providing Google Workspace, Cloud, AI, mapping, identity, and security services that support critical business operations and integrated workflows across multiple business units. The existing Google solutions are deeply embedded within City systems and processes, and transitioning to an alternative provider would result in significant costs, operational disruption, risks to data and service continuity, and extensive implementation timelines. To maintain business continuity, security, and operational efficiency, The City plans to continue this arrangement for an initial five-year term with an option to renew for an additional five years, with an estimated total value of approximately $2.1M USD (incld GST).
