Description
Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council is acting as Lead Authority (Contracting Authority) on this collaborative procurement on behalf of the CLAIRE (Wales) group of Councils and is seeking tenders for the collection of textile and media materials from Household Waste Recycling Centres (HWRC), Bring sites and kerbside for reuse and recycling. The tender will seek to put in place a Framework Agreement where participating CLAIRE (Wales) members will be able to create and award individual Call-Off Contracts with successful tenderer(s) for the Services described in the Specification. The material types and collection methods have been divided into 5 Lots and further details concerning Lotting can be found in the tender documents.There will be one tenderer awarded per Lot.The successful tenderer in each Lot will cater for all CLAIRE (Wales) members requirements.To draw the tenderers attention at the earliest opportunity, the incumbent contractor has indicated TUPE will apply. TUPE information will be provided to tenderers during the tender process.
