Description
The Caribbean Community Climate Change Centre (the CCCCC) has received financing fromGreen Climate Fund (GCF), toward the cost of the project titled “Strengthening SVG’s National Capacity to Accelerate Climate Action by addressing its Institutional, Technical and Climate Financing needs through the implementation of the Readiness Needs Assessment Report and Action Plan –VCT-RS-006” and intends to apply part of the proceeds towards a contract for “Climate Risk Priority Areas Assessment and develop Climate Risk Knowledge Products, SVG”(“the Services”). In completing this assignment, the Consultant is expected to engage with national stakeholders to ensure the outputs of the consultancy coincide with national priorities. National priorities may be informed by the recently completed vulnerability assessments but can be better defined at the Inception Meeting. The Consultant is also expected to review other available national documents including but not limited to the revised National Adaptation Plan, the Adaptation Plans for the Tourism Sector and the Coastal and Marine Environment, and the Vulnerability Assessments to inform the Climate Risk Priority Areas Assessment.
The CCCCC now invites eligible consulting firms to indicate their interest in providing the services.
