De opdracht betreft de levering, installatie en het onderhoud van een compact, geautomatiseerd opslagsysteem +4 Celsius ten behoeve van het Nederlands Forensisch Instituut (NFI) te Den Haag, Nederland. Het opslagsysteem heeft ongeveer een koelkastformaat en er worden minimaal 500 AutoLys-tubes met DNA-sporen en minimaal 6000 FluidX-tubes met DNA-extracten in opgeslagen bij een temperatuur van 4 °Celsius. Aansluitend aan een garantietermijn van minimaal 1 jaar volgt 10 jaar onderhoud en daarna de optie het onderhoud voort te zetten tot uiterlijk het einde van de technische levensduur van het opslagsysteem. Daarnaast geldt een optie om een tweede, identiek opslagsysteem af te nemen, inclusief onderhoud tot uiterlijk het einde van de technische levensduur.
Er wordt beoogd één overeenkomst te sluiten met een opdrachtnemer die de levering, installatie en het onderhoud verzorgt, ook voor het optionele tweede opslagsysteem.
Aanbestedende dienst gaat uit van een geraamde totale opdrachtwaarde, inclusief ALLE opties, van € 940.000,-.
