Description
In accordance with Section 3-04(b)(2)(iii) of the Procurement Policy Board Rules, theDepartment of Youth and Community Development (DYCD) intends to enter into a Negotiated Acquisition Extension with the contractors listed below to provide COMPASS school-based elementary programming. The Comprehensive Afterschool System of NYC (COMPASS) is comprised of over 900 programs serving young people enrolled in grades K-12. COMPASS offers recreation, enrichment, and cultural activities to support and strengthen the overall development of youth. COMPASS aims to help young people build skills to support their academic achievement, to raise their confidence and to cultivate their leadership skills through service learning and other civic engagement opportunities.The Elementary model is a robust design built on lessons learned by DYCD throughout COMPASSs history and caters to the whole child from Kindergarten through 5th grades.
