CONSTRUCTION OF 1KM BY 6M ASPHALT ROAD AT OTUNBA ADESIKUOLA SAMUEL ROAD, IKERE, EKITI STATE.
Items: Clear site of all bush and grass including top soil to a maximum depth of 100mm; Excavate any material except rock in cuttings and side drains haul excavate material any distance, spread in 150mm layers and compact to 100% BS compaction as filling for embankment and trim slopes to required cross sections.; Excavate from approved borrow pits and haul material any distance up to 2 km, deposit, spread in 150mm layers and compact to 100% BS compaction as filling for embankment and margin, shape formation and trim.; Construct reinforced concrete grade 25 in open line drain of 0.6mm x 0.6mm x 100mm; Shape and compact formation in cuttings as specified to 100% B.S. Compaction; Provide and lay 15 cm compacted stone base to as base course to receive asphalt pavement.; Provide and lay prime coat using MCO or MCI cut back bitumen at 0.9 litres per sq.m including blinding with sand or quarry fine; Provide, lay and compact asphaltic concrete wearing course to a compacted thickness of 40mm as specified.; Clear site of all bush and grass including top soil to a maximum depth of 100mm; De silt line drains
