Description

The Caribbean Community Climate Change Centre (the CCCCC) has received financing from the Adaptation Fund (AF) and the United Kingdom Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (UKFCDO) for the purpose of implementing the project “Climate Resilient Food System Transformation in Suriname (CR-FST)” and intends to apply a part of the proceeds towards payments for the Contract “Consulting Firm to Conduct Feasibility Study, as well as Environmental, Social, and Gender & Social Inclusion Assessments for climate resilient food system transformation in Suriname”. The primary objective of this consultancy is to support the development of the Climate Resilient Food Systems Transformation (CR-FST) Project in Suriname by undertaking the necessary analytical assessments and preparing a comprehensive project design that strengthens the climate resilience of Suriname’s food systems. The consultancy will evaluate the current state of climate vulnerability within Suriname’s food systems, identify key barriers and opportunities for climate-resilient transformation, and develop a project design that enhances agroecological production, strengthens local processing and value chains, improves climate information and knowledge sharing, and ultimately supports food security, adaptive capacity, and sustainable livelihoods. The CCCCC now invites Firms to submit Full Technical and Financial Proposals to provide the above services. Project closes Sep 04, 2026 2:00 PM -06.
