A presente contratação tem por objeto a instalação de suportes e placas de sinalização de trânsito em calçadas e vias públicas do município, visando garantir a adequada orientação de pedestres e condutores, bem como promover maior segurança e organização do tráfego urbano.
A sinalização viária é instrumento essencial para a prevenção de acidentes e para o ordenamento da circulação de veículos e pedestres, constituindo medida de interesse público e de caráter preventivo. A instalação correta das placas de trânsito contribui para a melhoria da mobilidade urbana e para o cumprimento das normas estabelecidas no Código de Trânsito Brasileiro.
A contratação pretendida enquadra-se na hipótese de dispensa de licitação prevista no art. 75, inciso II, da Lei nº 14.133/2021, tendo em vista tratar-se de contratação de baixo valor, dentro do limite legal estabelecido para aquisições e serviços que dispensam procedimento licitatório.

Dessa forma, justifica-se a dispensa de licitação para a contratação do serviço de instalação dos suportes e placas de trânsito, garantindo a adequada sinalização das vias públicas e contribuindo para a segurança da população.
