"Specialist consultant for the curricular redesign of the Master's Degree in Information Management"
Diagnosis, Study Plan, and Feasibility Study and Financial Plan
I. Introduction
The National Autonomous University of Honduras (UNAH) is an institution of the State of Honduras, with
legal personality, which enjoys the exclusivity of organizing, directing, and developing higher and professional education in the country.
Within the academic structure of UNAH, the Graduate Studies System Directorate (DSEP) regulates, organizes, guides, evaluates, and promotes graduate studies, to ensure compliance with the regulations and academic guidelines of the higher education level. The Graduate Program of the Faculty of Economic, Administrative and Accounting Sciences (POSFACE), in articulation with the Department of Informatics and the Master's Degree in Information Management (MGI), promotes the curricular redesign process of this program.
The accelerated evolution of information technology management, digital transformation, artificial intelligence, data analytics, cybersecurity, IT governance, enterprise architecture, technology project management, and other emerging areas makes it necessary to review and update the academic proposal of the Master's Degree in Information Management, ensuring its academic, professional, technological, and financial relevance.
For this process, the hiring of one (1) consultant is foreseen who integrates in a single profile experience in higher education curriculum design or redesign, substantive knowledge of the field of Information Management or related areas, and the ability to develop relevance, demand, and feasibility studies. The consultant will work in close coordination with the Curricular Redesign Subcommittee of the Department of Informatics, the Coordination of the Master's Degree in Information Management, POSFACE, and other competent university bodies.
The three main products of the process will be: (1) Program Diagnosis, according to the current institutional format of UNAH; (2) Redesigned Study Plan for the Master's Degree in Information Management; and (3) Feasibility Study and Financial Plan for the implementation and sustainability of the program. Official formats, regulations, and applicable guidelines will be provided or validated by POSFACE, DSEP, and the corresponding bodies.
II. General Objective of the Contract
To contract one (1) specialist professional in curriculum design and redesign, with proven experience in Information Management or related areas and in feasibility analysis, to prepare the Diagnosis, the Redesigned Study Plan, and the Feasibility Study and Financial Plan for the Master's Degree in Information Management, ensuring curricular coherence, disciplinary and technological relevance, academic-operational viability, and financial sustainability, in close relation with the Curricular Redesign Subcommittee, the MGI Coordination, POSFACE, and the competent bodies of UNAH.
III. Main Functions of the Consultant
The consultant will be responsible for technically developing and integrating the curricular, disciplinary, prospective, academic-operational, and financial components required for the three institutional products. The functions must be executed in an articulated manner, so that the findings of the diagnosis support the curricular decisions and these, in turn, support the feasibility study and the financial plan.

A. Planning and methodology of the process
? Review the regulations, institutional formats, current study plan, background, and academic documentation provided by UNAH.
? Develop, within the first five (5) calendar days after the order to start, a work plan that includes methodology, schedule, information sources, planned meetings, instruments, products, review milestones, and coordination mechanisms with the academic counterpart.
? Structure the research project that will support the curricular diagnosis and submit it for validation by the Curricular Redesign Subcommittee.
? Design, adjust, and apply the consultation and information gathering instruments necessary for the diagnosis, in accordance with the approved methodology.
? Participate in interviews, workshops, focus groups, consultations with employers, graduates, faculty, students, professionals, potential applicants, and other stakeholders determined by UNAH.
? Present periodic progress reports to the Curricular Redesign Coordination and the Subcommittee, and incorporate formally communicated technical observations.
B. Diagnosis, relevance, and prospectivity
? Conduct a critical review of the current study plan, including background, objectives, profiles, curricular structure, results, strengths, limitations, internal coherence, sequencing, academic load, and articulation between learning spaces.
? Systematize and analyze the quantitative and qualitative results of the diagnostic research, articulating the evidence from different actors and sources.
? Determine the real and potential demand for the program, considering the opinions of employers, graduates, professionals, potential students, related organizations, and experts.
