Description

Programmed Facility Management Pty Ltd (PFM) on behalf of Department of Housing and Works (DHW) and Department of Education are seeking tenders from suitably qualified and experienced contractors to undertake the provision of Electrical Upgrade works at multiple DOE site namely: •Eden Hill Primary School •Rossmoyne Primary School •Herne Hill Primary School •Rossmoyne Primary School The Work includes but is not limited to: •The removal of Evaporative systems and Gas Heaters and make good of All areas including floors, walls, ceilings and Roof finishes. The supply and installation of new Refrigerated Air Conditioning to the DoE Standard Brief. Including the requirement for Mechanical Fresh Air to Classroom. Minor Building works may also be required •Relocation of any services affected by the works including but not limited to Power points and Data Points WAP equipment, Security Sensors and Sirens, PA speakers, Projectors, Smoke Detectors, lights and Fans. PA Speakers must always remain connected during term time to adhere to the school’s evacuation procedures. •External works areas to be secure and fenced off from the public. Adequate signage to be installed as required. •Repairs to the roof sheeting should be from Ridge cap to gutter line and no ‘patches’ will be accepted. For tiled roofs, a “best match” tile should be sourced •Condensate is to terminate at ground level; soak wells are required where condensate cannot be adequately discharged or as per the consultants’ detail drain (Walkways or concrete areas where no adjacent drain is available). •All openings into classrooms that are being left for a period (Vents, grilles, pipe penetrations etc.) must be temporarily sealed to prevent access from birds, pests, vandalism etc. •Acoustic Ceiling tiles on the bottom of the bulkheads is the preferred method for future access to mechanical equipment. •Where Gas disconnections are left above ground, these should be sealed in accordance with Aust. Standards and a small box cover made and installed with a label - “Live Gas Under”
