Description
The New York City Department of Consumer and Worker Protection (DCWP) intends on entering into a Negotiated Acquisition with NYC Kids RISE pursuant to (i) Section 3-04 (b)(2)(ii) of the PPB rules: there is a limited number of vendors available and able to perform the work to obtain the following services: The Expansion and Administration of the NYC Kids RISE Save for College Program; and (ii) PPB Rules Section 3-04 (b)(2)(i)(D): a compelling need for goods, services, construction, and/or construction-related services exists that cannot be timely met through competitive sealed bidding or competitive sealed proposals. The anticipated term of the contract is three years from January 01, 2022 to December 31, 2024 with three one-year renewal options. The proposed contract total budget for this negotiated acquisition is $45,000,000.00. NYC Kids RISE Save for College Program provides families, schools, and communities with a way to work together to save for their childrens futures. Its a scholarship and savings program designed to make college and career training more accessible and achievable for all NYC public school students, starting in kindergartenregardless of their familys income or immigration status.
