2.1. A presente contratação tem por objeto o credenciamento de interessados para a prestação de serviços especializados de instalação, manutenção preventiva e corretiva predial de sistemas elétricos e eletrônicos, visando atender às demandas das diversas Secretarias e setores da Prefeitura Municipal de Espírito Santo do Dourado/MG.
2.2. A contratação mostra-se imprescindível para assegurar a continuidade, eficiência e segurança dos serviços públicos municipais, tendo em vista que as instalações elétricas dos inúmeros prédios públicos demandam manutenção constante, tanto em caráter preventivo quanto corretivo, de forma a garantir seu pleno funcionamento e evitar interrupções nas atividades administrativas e nos serviços essenciais prestados à população.
2.3. O Município possui ampla estrutura física composta por escolas, unidades de saúde, prédios administrativos, centros de atendimento, espaços esportivos, imóveis destinados à assistência social, almoxarifados, garagens, praças, áreas de lazer e demais edificações públicas, localizadas tanto na zona urbana quanto na zona rural. Em razão dessa extensa rede de imóveis, a demanda por serviços elétricos especializados é elevada e contínua, abrangendo desde pequenos reparos até intervenções de maior complexidade, inclusive em situações emergenciais que exigem atendimento imediato.
