About This Opportunity
TranslatedThis tender concerns the procurement of an experimental mesocosm platform for the Murighiol Hub. The primary objective is to acquire a system capable of closely monitoring the dynamics of physico-chemical factors, which is crucial for experiments investigating the effects of climate change and eutrophication. The proposed sensor system will measure parameters within each basin, record these values, and transmit them remotely to generate progress reports. The system is designed for autonomous operation, minimizing the need for constant operator presence. Data transmission will be facilitated periodically via a GPRS connection to a remote dispatch center. Remote programming of the installation's operating parameters will be possible from the dispatch center or the control cabin using the system's provided notebook. The experimental mesocosm platform requires specific components for its intended objectives. Key equipment includes 24 testing basins, each equipped with a two-piece lid, a sensor support rail, a net frame, an overflow basin, filling/emptying systems (pipes, manual valves), heating elements (3 per basin), two temperature sensors for heating control and overheat protection, a water level switch, a multiparameter water quality analyzer, manual valves, and associated cabling. Additionally, one metal container/control post is required. This post will house a portable multiparameter analyzer, a standard multiparameter analyzer, two industrial computers for data processing and backup, four equipped and ventilated electrical panels, one electrical panel for the industrial computers, a GSM data modem, a laptop for remote control, and an RTD temperature sensor for monitoring.
This is a supplies contract in the environment and climate, Research and information and communication technology sectors, with a focus on Data Analytics. Located in Romania, Europe, this opportunity is open to firms and consortiums.

Description
Auto-translated from roThe purpose of this contract is the acquisition of a mesocosm-type experimental platform within the Murighiol Hub. The use of sensors will allow close monitoring of the dynamics of physico-chemical factors, an essential aspect for experiments whose main theme is the effects of climate change and eutrophication. The sensor system is intended for measuring parameters in each basin, recording measured values, and transmitting this data remotely for the creation of parameter evolution reports. The system can operate automatically, without operator presence. Measured data will be periodically transmitted to a remote dispatch center via a GPRS connection. The operating parameters of the installation can be programmed remotely, from the dispatch center or from the control cabin using the system's notebook. The contractor must install all products/component parts properly, ensuring at the same time that the installation areas remain clean. After delivery and installation of the products/component parts, the contractor will remove all resulting waste and take appropriate measures to collect all packaging and dispose of it from the installation site. Once the products/component parts are assembled, the contractor will commission and then perform all necessary configurations/settings for PC operation of the equipment, programming and carrying out measurements, recording data, and analyzing measurement results. Commissioning also includes all adjustments and settings necessary to ensure proper installation, in terms of performance and quality, with all necessary configurations for optimal operation. After installation and commissioning, the Contracting Authority and the Contractor will perform functional tests of the equipment. Equipment testing will consider the following elements, but not be limited to: - testing under conditions of use on a boat - testing methods; - different testing environments; - verification of performance parameters regarding equipment operation. The contractor will, at their own expense and without any cost to the Contracting Authority...
