Nava a fost construită în anul 1983 la Șantierul Naval Galați, corp de oțel, cu două punți având suprastructura în prova, propulsie cu două elice cu pale reglabile acționate prin reductoare tip G23F de două motoare tip VOLOVO TAMD 120A de câte 300 CP fiecare.
