Design, technical assistance, and execution of works for the modernization of thermal energy distribution networks in Craiova - Phase I

This tender concerns the design, technical assistance from the designer, and execution of works for the project titled "Modernization of thermal energy distribution networks to final consumers in the municipality of Craiova – Phase I". The project aims to upgrade existing thermal energy distribution infrastructure. Key works include the complete replacement of existing networks, which are currently in a classic configuration within existing thermal channels, using steel pipes insulated with mineral wool protected by bitumen cardboard. Additionally, the supply and recirculation pipes for hot water will be replaced with insulated galvanized steel pipes. The newly designed thermal networks will utilize pre-insulated steel pipes with polyurethane foam and a protective HDPE casing. For domestic hot water pipes, galvanized steel pipes will be used. The project also mandates the provision of equipment for monitoring the integrity of the pipes that constitute the thermal network for both heating and domestic hot water supply. Furthermore, thermal energy meters with remote data acquisition capabilities (reading) will be installed at all apartment building entrances. These meters will be positioned on the connection pipes and will measure and record both the quantity of thermal energy supplied and the volume of hot water for domestic use. The meters must be equipped with all necessary accessories for accurate flow measurement and remote data transmission, preferably using an M-bus system with data transmission cables for direct reading at thermal points, minimizing the need for on-site personnel. The scope also includes the installation of hydraulic balancing systems.
