Monitorizarea biodiversității are ca scop: • Verificarea stării de conservare a speciilor și habitatelor afectate direct sau indirect de funcționarea LEA 400 kV Gutinaș–Smârdan, • Evaluarea eficienței măsurilor specifice și operaționale pentru prevenirea și reducerea impactului asupra obiectivelor de conservare și integrității ROPSPA 0071 și ROSCI 0162, • Furnizarea de date științifice necesare raportării către autoritățile de mediu și respectării obligațiilor legale. Durata contractului este de 38 (treizeci şi opt) luni de la data menţionată în ordinul de începere al contractului sectorial de servicii. Ordinul de începere va fi dat după terminarea lucrărilor și punerea în funcție a LEA Gutinaș Smârdan iar prima plată în cadrul contractului se va efectua în anul 2027, PIF a LEA Gutinaș Smârdan estimându-se a se efectua in semestrul I al anului 2026, moment de la care se va da ordinul de începere pentru primul ciclu biologic de monitorizare.
