Description

Prin achiziționarea scintilatorului CsI, Autoritatea Contractantă urmărește asigurarea infrastructurii necesare pentru atingerea obiectivelor strategice și științifice din cadrul proiectului Dr.Laser. În primul rând, scintilatorul CsI va permite împreună cu resursele locale, expertiza locală și componentele deja existente, realizarea unui detector de raze X cu specificații tehnice ridicate, asigurând astfel obținerea unor imagini de rezoluție mare. Mai mult, prin integrarea acestuia într-un detector construit „in-house” de către echipa tehnică, Autoritatea Contractantă va beneficia de un control mai mare asupra specificațiilor tehnice ale echipamentului și de o adaptare optimă la cerințele interferometrelor Talbot-Lau dezvoltate în proiect. Scintilatorul CsI va permite maximizarea eficienței de conversie a razelor X în semnal util (lumină vizibilă), ceea ce duce la o sensibilitate crescută a sistemului și la obținerea unor imagini de calitate înaltă. Toate aceste aspecte contribuie la avansul cercetării în domeniul imagisticii cu contrast de fază și la atingerea obiectivelor inovative propuse în proiect.
