The primary objective of this initiative is to enhance transportation conditions, particularly for students in rural areas who face accessibility challenges and limited transport options, as well as urban students commuting long distances to school. The procurement specifically focuses on acquiring "green" school microbuses, emphasizing electric vehicles. The rationale behind selecting electric vehicles is their significant role in mitigating environmental impact through low or zero greenhouse gas emissions and reduced air pollution.
