În cadrul Planului Național de Redresare și Reziliență 2020–2026, Pilonul I – „Tranziția Verde”, Componenta 2 – „Păduri și protecția biodiversității”, Investiția 4, program coordonat de Ministerul Mediului, Apelor și Pădurilor, în conformitate cu Contractul de Finanțare nr. 6878/23.08.2022, Institutul Național de Cercetare-Dezvoltare pentru Protecția Mediului București asigură implementarea în condiții satisfăcătoare a proiectului cu titlul: „Implementarea unui sistem de monitorizare a sturionilor sălbatici de-a lungul Dunării de Jos” (cod C2/14.4).Prin prezenta documentație se dorește realizarea unui sistem integrat de monitorizare a sturionilor sălbatici și prevenirea braconajului pe o distanță de maximum 1.500 km de-a lungul Dunării, inclusiv conectarea cu sistemul de monitorizare DKMR – Rețea de monitorizare, comunicații și transmitere date .
