The Contractor's/Supervisor's activity is to supervise, as the "Supervisor", the design and execution of works, as well as during the warranty period of the works, in order to monitor the correct use of available funds and to ensure that the Contractor designs and executes the works in accordance with the contractual obligations, especially regarding the duration, quantity, quality, and cost of the design and works in accordance with the provisions of Government Decision no. 1/2018, for the approval of the general and specific conditions for certain categories of public procurement contracts related to investment objectives financed from public funds, Annex 2 design and execution of works. The Contractor/Supervisor will ensure that the Technical Project is developed in accordance with the legal regulations in force, respecting all stages from Government Decision no. 907/2016 on the stages of development and the framework content of the technical-economic documentation related to investment objectives/projects financed from public funds, with subsequent amendments. Within the scope of Consultancy and Supervision services for the design and execution of works for the "Rehabilitation of the Dărmănești – Vicșani – Frontier railway line" – Stage 1 – Lot 2 – Rehabilitation works of the Bridge at km 0+522, the Contractor/Supervisor will carry out coordination, consultancy, and supervision activities. The activities necessary for the realization and implementation of the supervised investment objective will be carried out within the scope of the Iași Regional Railway Branch, respectively in Suceava County. The work is located on the 500 Main Line, connecting Bucharest North – Dărmănești – Vicșani - Frontier. The bridge is located on the Dornești – Rădauți railway line, in Dornești station (Cap X area), at Km 0+522 and normally crosses the Suceava River. The bridge is managed by the Suceava L5 Section, within the Iași Regional Railway Branch. The Dornești – Nisipitu section of the line is a single track, standard and broad gauge, non-electrified. The project aims at the "Rehabilitation of the Dărmănești – Vicșani – Frontier railway line" – Stage 1 – Lot 2 – Rehabilitation works of the Bridge at km 0+522, in order to ensure a high degree of railway traffic safety, with the following expected results and effects impacting the increase in the attractiveness of passenger rail transport:  - improvement of railway traffic safety conditions; - improvement of travel comfort; - reduction of pollutant emissions and negative environmental impact; - optimization of cross-border rail transport for both passengers and freight; - increasing the attractiveness and accessibility of Suceava municipality; - attracting investment and capital for the development of the business environment, considering that economic activities are carried out in Suceava municipality; - ensuring a high degree of mobility and accessibility for residents and the business environment in Suceava County. In accordance with the General Estimate of the investment objective elaborated at the Feasibility Study Phase, prepared in compliance with the provisions of Government Decision no. 907/2016 on the stages of development and the framework content of the technical-economic documentation related to investment objectives/projects financed from public funds, with subsequent amendments, the estimated value of the Consultancy and Supervision services for the design and execution of works for: "Rehabilitation of the Dărmănești – Vicșani – Frontier railway line" – Stage 1-Lot 2-Rehabilitation works of the Bridge at Km 0+522 was established as the sum of the values from the general estimate, provided for in the chapters: Chapter 3.7.1 – project management for the investment objective – 301,697.40 lei excluding VAT Chapter 3.8.2 – site supervision – 771,514.42 lei excluding VAT Implementation reserves (10% of 3.8.2) – 77,151.44 lei excluding VAT Thus, the estimated value of the contra...
