Catering Services for Tulcea County Emergency Hospital

The contracting authority is initiating a procurement procedure to acquire food preparation and transportation (catering) services for patients admitted to the Tulcea County Emergency Hospital. The selected provider will be responsible for ensuring continuous provision of meals for hospitalized patients and daily meals for on-call physicians at the hospital, according to a schedule established by the contracting authority. These services must adhere strictly to caloric, quantitative, and qualitative requirements, as well as dietary restrictions, in full compliance with Government Decision no. 470 of April 21, 2021, which amends Government Decision no. 429/2008 concerning food allowances for collective consumption in public health units and approving related measures. Upon completion of this award procedure, a framework agreement will be concluded for a period of 48 months with a maximum of three economic operators. The minimum and maximum quantities for the framework agreement and subsequent contracts are detailed in the technical specifications. The contracting authority commits to providing clear and complete responses to all clarification requests by the 11th day prior to the deadline for offer submission. Clarification requests can be submitted up to 18 days before the final submission deadline for offers/candidatures. The award criteria will be detailed further in the tender documentation.
