ASL will undertake targeted analysis across five priority spend categories identified by DEFRA.

This will include:
• Reviewing category documents and spend information
• Designing and running up to five virtual risk assessment and heatmapping workshops.
• Engaging relevant Defra group stakeholders.
• Capturing supplier insights through surveys.
• Providing clear outputs including an interactive heatmap, category scoring, due diligence
recommendations and strategic insights.
ASL will help DEFRA build improved capability, highlight priority risks and shape future modern
