Department of Justice - New Youth Detention Facility - Expression of Interest Artist Opportunity B. We’re calling out for Expressions of Interest (EOI) from artist teams interested in working on a major integrated public artwork commission at the New Youth Detention Facility (NYDF). This EOI features multiple artwork opportunities throughout the facility and seeks artist teams with complementary skills across a range of disciplines and materials. Artist teams should include WA Aboriginal artist/s. Submissions where WA Aboriginal artists hold a leadership role, and teams that demonstrate gender diversity, will be highly regarded. The commission includes both Design and Delivery and Design Only opportunities, including integrated ground plane artwork, cultural and landscape areas, sculptural works, secure courtyards, perforated art screens and interior integrated artwork.
