Description

The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) has a requirement for a design team to design the next iteration of Australia’s support to Indonesia disaster risk management.The new investment aims to support Indonesia’s resilience to natural hazards while strengthening response capability and cooperation between Australia and Indonesia. It will do this through enhanced government-to-government engagement, stronger institutional linkages for bilateral humanitarian and disaster response (civilian-military exercises), provide avenues for trilateral engagement, and enhance the integration of disaster risk management with climate change adaptation.The Design Team will develop a clear framework and delivery mechanism for Australia’s investment in disaster risk management, to be delivered over ten years (2027-2037), with a budget envelope of up to AUD130 million.
