Description

Assignment Overview Expertise France is seeking a qualified consulting firm to support the design of a Venture Debt Fund in Rwanda. The assignment aims to develop a practical and sustainable venture debt financing model tailored to the needs of technology startups and the Rwandan investment ecosystem. The selected firm will conduct the necessary market and stakeholder analysis, assess the financing needs of technology startups and investors, benchmark relevant venture debt and alternative financing models, and develop recommendations for the structure, operating model, financial viability, and sustainability of the proposed fund. The assignment will also include the development of appropriate financial models and investment instruments, validation of the proposed approach with relevant stakeholders, and preparation of a final Venture Debt Fund design that can support increased access to appropriate financing for technology-driven businesses in Rwanda.
